We’re now a bulk billing practice!

As of 1st of February 2023, Jupiter Health Subiaco will be transitioning to a mixed billing practice.

As a practice we believe that everyone deserves to have access to high quality healthcare and so we were offering our services as a bulk billing clinic.

Unfortunately, the rebate we receive from Medicare does not cover the operational costs of the practice. We are committed to maintaining and providing the very best quality healthcare for our patients and so we have taken this step to protect the sustainability of our practice.

BULK BILLING CRITERIA

Access to healthcare is very important to us.
Therefore, we will continue to bulk bill the following patients;

  • Children under 16 years of age
  • Pension Card/Health Care Card Holders
  • DVA Card Holders

Please note we are fully private billing all day Saturday & Sunday.

Drivers Medicals

Private Drivers Medicals

If you are required to undergo a medical prior to your driver’s licence renewal, then you will need to complete and submit a medical assessment certificate ‘Fitness to drive” as evidence of your continued fitness to drive.

Commercial Drivers Medicals

Implanon Insertions & Removals

A contraceptive implant is inserted under the skin on the inside of the arm and offers a very effective and convenient long-term contraception option.

Iron Infusions

Iron infusion is a treatment where iron is given through a vein and directly enters the bloodstream. It is also called intravenous (IV) iron. A needle or cannula is placed in the arm or the back of the hand, which is then connected to a drip with iron mixed in with a saline solution.

Cervical Screening

Cervical Screening is a simple test done every 5 years to check for human papillomavirus (HPV) – a common infection. Testing will be done using a speculum and a small brush to take a sample of cells from your cervix

Ear Syringe

Ear irrigation is a routine procedure used to remove excess earwax, or cerumen, and foreign materials from the ear.

All of our skin checks are now done at GP Skin Co, our affiliated clinic located just opposite our medical center. If you’ve had mole mapping with us before, don’t worry—we still have your records on file.
